Thomas Farms is a 4th generation family farm established in 1946. Located in Northwest Florida, Thomas Farms has 1,200 acres of cotton, chufas, peanuts and produce in production. We are the largest producer of Chufas in the United States. We grow, clean, and bag all of our own chufas. Our high quality, high germination chufas are second to none.

We currently sell to many individuals and seed companies. Our customer satisfaction is 100%. Over and over again our customers say they want our American Chufa over the Spanish Chufa. We will gladly give you references of satisfied customers.

American Chufas

Thomas Farms strives to grow the highest of quality, double cleaned chufa seed available to U.S. growers to make you successful. We have 11 years of chufa production experience.

The seed count of American Chufas is greater than Spanish Chufas per pound. So it takes less chufas per acre to attain a manageable stand. American Chufas contain no foreign weed seed.
